Ada-Cascade AYSO runs on the power of our volunteers to ensure each child has a terrific soccer experience. That means parents, neighbors, relatives, and friends (just like you) who lend their time and talents. Why should you become an AYSO Referee? We need you. We can't have games without referees. More importantly, it's rewarding and working with kids is great!

AYSO Referees keep the game safe, fair, and fun for everyone. Being an AYSO Referee is not only fun, but you get the best seat in the house to watch the games. We'll train you and equip you. All we need is your time and energy! No experience is necessary -- we offer plenty of training and support to make your experience a success.

AYSO refereeing is available for youth and adult volunteers. Kids as young as 10 years old are permitted to officiate matches. As youth referees enter high school, they have opportunities to manage more challenging matches and even earn Community Service credits as AYSO referees. Refereeing in AYSO is a terrific way to help kids learn responsibility and build self-confidence.
